AIMS Locum Tenens is Hiring a Psychometrist Near Jacksonville, NC
Qualifications:
- Possess a Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related behavioral science field. OR Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related behavioral science field.
- Hold a current certification as a Psychometrist by the National Association of Psychometrists or Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP).
- If Master’s degree, have at least 1 year of experience in neuropsychological testing and test scoring within the last 24 months. If Bachelor’s degree, have at least 3 years of experience in neuropsychological testing and test scoring within the last 36 months.
- Experience with neuropsychological tests such as WAIS-IV, WMS-IV, CLVT-II, Trailmaking Test, Grooved Pegboard Test, TOMM, or Wisconsin Card Sorting Test is preferred.
- Board certification is not required.
- Licensure/Registration is not required.
Duties:
- Provide services within the scope of competencies, applicable duties in the basic contract, and additional responsibilities.
- Technically direct, escort, and/or participate in therapeutic patient activities on and off the clinic.
- Perform unit administrative activities as directed.
- Exercise appropriate clinical delegation of tasks and duties: Direct and coordinate healthcare team members, patient care, and clinic activities.
- Participate in the implementation of the Family Advocacy Program: Conduct necessary medical examinations, document findings, and report as directed.
- Participate in providing in-service training: Offer training and clinical guidance to clinic staff members, including government employees such as hospital corpsmen and students.
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
